Gale joined our team this year as an Associate Partner.  

Gale comes to us with 15 years of experience with AIG.   She started in 2003 as an Financial Representative.  Four years later she was promoted to Associate Manager.

Gale served clients in Alabama, Georgia, and Florida in this capacity for the next eleven years.  Gale is skilled in Customer service, Insurance sales, Voluntary Employee benefits. She enjoys building relationships with her clients and being there for them when they need her most.

Gale's clients say she delivers a very strong and caring skill set when it comes to working for them.  It is for this and many other reasons we are proud to have Ms. Sundie as part of the JPB Family.

Amanda began her career in Life Insurance with AIG  in 2004.  Beforehand she was an Administrative Assistant, for Tournament Grade Manufacturing/ Sport Specialist, Inc.  for fourteen years.  During her tenure Amanda expanded her skill-set to include management, accounting, trade show presentation, seminar sales, customer service, but most importantly the Clients and servicing their needs.  That helped her adapt into the Life Insurance field rather easy. During Amanda's time with AIG, she held titles such as Agent, Associate Manager and lastly Field Representative.

Amanda has won numerous Leadership Conventions, Presidents Trophy Awards, Premier Producer Awards, Product Sales Award, & Top Producer Symposium Qualifications, as well as attended several Industry Conventions.  All superior signs of recognition for her care and dedication to her clients.

Amanda is very passionate about the service she provide to our clients, She refers to them as her " Family & Friends". We are honored to have Amanda as part of the JPB Family serving clients in Alabama, Georgia, & North Florida.

Ivan Daphnis graduated with a BS in Elementary Education from Oakwood University and has a Master’s Degree from Nova Southeastern University. 

Ivan has been in the educational field for a long time but has not stopped educating. Ivan transitioned from educating students to educating families about financial literacy after witnessing personally how families struggle by not being financially protected due to a catastrophic event. Ivan is very active in the community and his main goal is to educate as many as possible on having a financial plan, creating family legacies, and creating generational wealth instead of transferring debt. Ivan is a husband, and a father of 3 children.

Ivan says, “The goal of financial literacy is to help in understanding financial concepts that will help them to manage their money better. It is a life skill that one must grasp for good financial wellbeing. Ivan have clients throughout the United States and is happy to serve anyone who needs assistance.

Deval brings diversified experience working in different fields of the financial industry for more than 18 years. Prior to joining JPB Associates, she worked as a Mortgage Banker with Chase. She has gained valuable customer service and sales skills through her different roles in financial institutions.

Deval’s main goal to join the firm is to help her friends and family, educate them on creating a portfolio against unexpected situations in life by reducing financial losses and protecting loved ones. She loves to help her clients with financial planning by creating generational wealth and an independent retirement. 

Mario Mejia

Mortgage Protection Specialist

Mario graduated with a BS in Business Administration from Central Connecticut State University with a concentration in Human Resources.  

Mario has 20yr+ experience in the financial services field and played a variety of roles from a captive agent for Metlife, a Call Center Team Champion for Aetna Financial Services, IT Business Analyst / Project Manager for ING & The Hartford, to an IT Software Release Manager for MassMutual.

After many years in Corporate America, Mario decided to change careers and go back to what he enjoyed the most - being in front of his client and protecting them from financial losses!  His consultative approach, organized manner, attentive to detail, and a loving family man, are some of his strengths that Mario brings to his clients.  

He is fluent in English and Spanish lending him the ability to help Florida's diverse community.  

Christina started her career 22 years ago in life insurance. She started with Monumental Life and then went onto AIG, were she was a sales Manager. She has been an independent Contactor for the last 10 years. She has specialized in retirement planning, safe investments, social security education, and seminars around Michigan. 

Christina is a member of SOFA, and was a member of the Circle of Excellence. Her main objective is to help people prepare for there retirement and social security years. 

She is the owner of Scott Financial and lives in Davison, Michigan.

Dutch is well connected in many community outreach programs throughout the Tampa Bay area. His interest in Medicare started when his parents became Medicare eligible. He is a knowledgeable Medicare expert promoting needs-based enrollment and appropriately matching clients with suitable plans. Dutch is originally from a southwestern Ohio community where people helped each other in order to strengthen their neighborhood. He currently resides in St. Pete with his wife and two children.

Al is a dedicated financial services professional with a lifelong passion for helping clients achieve their financial goals.  With a career spanning decades, Al brings expertise  and commitment to empowering others.  Originally from Minnesota, Al has called Tampa Bay, Florida home for over 25 years, where he resides with his wife, Peggie.   Outside of work,  Al enjoys golfing, watching sporting events and spending time with his family.

Bill brings over 30 years of experience working with senior adults across a range of industries. He’s passionate about helping families achieve financial peace of mind through thoughtful retirement planning and sound strategies. Originally from Ohio, Bill has called Florida home since 1988. He and his wife, Adriana, live in Tampa with their dog, Paloma. Outside of work, Bill enjoys staying active at the gym, playing piano, relaxing on beach getaways.

I got into the insurance business in 1996 after working in the retail business for 28 years. 

From 1996 to 2023 I was an agent for American National Insurance Company. I joined JPB & Associates and the live America organization in 2024.
